Tonight's meeting was about spiritual awakenings and "God shots," moments of awareness of God doing for us what we couldn't do for ourselves. One person told of his driving to a meeting location and it being locked with no one around. Needing a meeting, he wanted to go to another on the schedule, but didn't take his schedule with him. He was praying about it throughout the dilemma. Then he saw a guy on a bicycle and, though he was sure the guy wasn't in AA, asked if he was. He was indeed and was coming to the meeting that was apparently not going to happen. He had a meeting schedule, but biking to another meeting would take too long. They each had what the other needed and both got to another meeting... together.

This guy summed up by saying something to the effect of:

If God doesn't answer a prayer outright, He organizes things as such that you and someone else can help each other.
